With a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success, Dirk Ashbaugh has established himself as a trusted advocate in the legal community.  Dirk is committed to protecting the rights and interests of individuals in and outside of the courtroom in Federal Court and throughout the State of Texas. 

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Dirk grew up in the Texas Hill Country and has called Central and South Texas home for most of his life. Growing up, Dirk played and excelled in sports and worked part-time cleaning pools for a local company for several years. 

Dirk attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma where he obtained a degree in Political Science. After graduating he moved back to be closer to family and friends in Austin, Texas. There he started working for a small start-up recruiting and staffing company. Ultimately, he knew the time had come to move on and do something bigger with his life. Law School was that next step.

After graduating from Saint Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas and passing the Bar Exam in 2014, Dirk decided to go out on his own. He hung up his shingle here in San Antonio and has been practicing law as a solo-practitioner ever since. He is proud to call San Antonio home and has embraced the Alamo City. Dirk has dedicated his practice to representing individuals and helping people overcome the obstacles that life has thrown their way.

When Dirk isn’t at the office or in the courthouse he enjoys spending time with his son, playing golf and tennis, and taking in the natural beauty of the great state of Texas.
